After a guarded nice time in the Big Easy, I was alerted by the boss we were behind schedule. So we decided to kick the ole Dodge into overdrive and start eating up some miles. We headed north with Natchez in our sights.
Natchez is a tourist town that got it right. The visitors center allows big RV's to stay for two nights (undisclosed sources say much longer). They have free dump stations and get this......free electrical! As a bonus to our readers, there is only one 30 amp outlet and that's the last one to your right (with your back to the visitors center), all others are 15 amp. This must be about the nicest visitors center we have ever been too. Free coffee, free over night, free electrical, free hook ups......wow.
We had a great time visiting the town. Historical cemetery, friendly people, great parks, etc. We highly recommend a visit during the off season.
